Biografija

Georg Fridrih Hegel (1770-1831), ubraja se u najbriljantnije nemačke filozofe. Rođen je u Študgartu a obrazovanje je stekao u seminaru protenstanske crkve u Tibingenu. U mladosti je ostvario blisko prijateljstvo sa Fridrihom Šelingom i Fridrihom Hederlinom. Na poziv Fridriha Šelinga, Fihteovog naslednika, preselio se 1801. godine u Jenu, gde se habilitirao radom o filozofiji prirode O putovanjima planeta. Prvo je predavao kao docent a 1805.
prelazi u redovne profesore. Njegovo delo Fenomenologia duha spada u najvažnija dela svetske filozofije.
